It's called 'Architectural Fragment' (created by Petrus Spronk) but they should have called it Hiding in Plain Sight because nobody seems to notice it’s there. I love it and I’m always asked if it’s real and where it is, even by people who live in the city. I think it doesn’t get noticed much because it’s situated so close to the street and everyone walks behind it. Also because it’s the same colour as the footpath and maybe it blends in. Skateboarders certainly know it’s there because they’re all over it. If you’d like to check it out it’s right outside the State Library on Swanston St (corner La Trobe).
