Bourke St, Melbourne.
Pellegrini’s is an iconic Melbourne restaurant that’s been there forever and they supposedly installed Melbourne's first espresso machine way back in 1954. It took me a while to get this shot. This was my third or fourth attempt because somehow I just couldn’t get a composition I liked and I had to wait for a wet night each time I tried because I wanted the reflections off the footpath. If you’re heading out for dinner (or lunch or breakfast) and feel like Italian and a bit of Melbourne history, it’s at the top end of Bourke St between Spring and Exhibition.
