Melbourne Central.
Ye olde shot tower. If you’ve been to Melbourne and visited the Melbourne Central shopping centre chances are you’ve shot your own version of this one - can’t walk around it without bumping into a gazillion tourists pointing their phones upwards. Back in the 1800’s they would pour molten lead through a colander from the top of the tower into a pool of water at the bottom and it would cool on the way down into little round shot pellets for guns. In the 1980’s they built a shopping centre around it (originally Daimaru) and it’s worth having a wander through if you’re looking for things to do in the city.
