Gold Coast, Queensland. I was in another tiger moth like the one I’ve used a few times in the Whitsundays because they’re usually good to shoot from - I can utilise both sides because the pilot sits behind me (unlike a Cessna where the pilot sits to my right) and it’s a relatively unobstructed sightline (also unlike a Cessna), but on this flight there was a strong on-shore wind which bounces off the buildings and creates massive turbulence. I’m not good in planes at the best of times (worse in boats) so I had to cut the flight short before I started throwing up all over the tourists on the beach. We were getting tossed around so much anyway it was difficult to hold on to the camera, let alone get a decent shot. I got a few I like but I’m in no hurry to go back up there again.
