I was on my way to visit my brother in Bega, New South Wales, when I drove past (or ‘over’ since they were going through a tunnel under the road) this traffic jam of cows. I stopped, had a look and asked the guy on the quad bike if it was okay with him if I took a shot. We had a quick chat and he told me the reason they were all backed up like that was because the first cows to go through the tunnel had stopped at the tree on the other side of the road and the others couldn’t get through. It was a pretty hot day and they’d stopped to rest in the shade. So now the farmer has to push his way through the crowd to the head of the line and move the lazy ones along.
