My goal here was to get a shot of him (males have a dark chest patch) walking towards the camera. His goal seemed to be to keep changing directions until I gave up and went away. I must have walked along with him through the forest for a half hour and every time I got into position in front of him he'd just turn around and head somewhere else. He didn't seem bothered by my presence, he just didn't think it a good idea to head in my direction. We finally got to an opening and I sprinted around and ahead, lay down in the grass and snapped off a few shots before he continued into the bush. Not the easiest koala shot I've taken but very rewarding. Notice his two thumbs?
