St Kilda Harbour

This is my penguin shot. At least, it was supposed to be. I don't often head out with a specific image in mind and when I do it's even less often that I actually come back with it but on this night I wanted the little penguins that nest in the rocks at the end of St Kilda pier. I didn’t see any, got bored after 10 minutes (I’d make a great wildlife photographer) and started looking around. I shot this as a long exposure on the tripod from the end of the pier looking across St Kilda harbour to the city. No penguins, but a nice shot all the same.
