Glenda King

Glenda King was born in Dimboola where she grew up surrounded by the stunning timeless colours of the Little Desert. She is often heard to comment that the desert sands and colours are in her veins; evidence of which can be seen in some of her paintings. Glenda has travelled extensively enjoying the vibrancy of many cultures. She was a nurse and midwife and, now retired, focusses mainly on her art.

The prints in this section are reproductions of original paintings by Dimboola artist Glenda King. I've photographed her paintings (some were made with mixed media) and printed them on canvas under her direction and approval.

All these prints have a mirror wrap edge (not shown on the image) which means that, when it's stretched onto a frame, the image appears to continue around the side of the frame but it's actually a copy of the image, as if the image were held against a mirror. This way none of the image is 'lost' around the side.

When ordering through the website the print is delivered rolled in a tube but if you can get to Dimboola for pickup, I can make one for you that's stretched on a frame and ready to hang.
